Differences between 316 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel steel plate steel plate

Also referred to as Atmospheric Corrosion Resistant Steel, this product is seen as an inexpensive and highly effective material to be used in structural applications which are exposed to the atmospheric elements.

The steel oxidises with pollutants in the air forming a thick layer of rust – this formation acts as a protective layer which prevents the steel from corroding. The layer constantly regenerates and forms over time.

Bebon International is the stainless steel exporters,Offers a variety of stainless steel,Here analyze differences between 316 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel.

316L stainless steel resistant to carbide precipitation and better performance than the 316 stainless steel.

Differences between 316 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel

316 stainless steel has good weldability. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. Welding according to the application, were used 316Cb, 316L stainless steel or 309Cb filler rod or electrode welding. For optimum corrosion resistance, stainless steel welding section 316 stainless steelrequire post-weld annealing. If you use 316L stainless steel, does not require post-weld annealing.

Typical uses 316L stainless steel pulp and paper equipment heat exchangers, dyeing equipment, film processing equipment, pipelines, coastal areas outside the building materials used.
