ASTM 410 Stainless Steel

ASTM 410 stainless steel is a stainless steel grade produced according to the ASTM standard in the United States, it is a martensitic stainless steel with moderate corrosion resistance.

The delivery state of ASTM 410 stainless steel is usually the state after solution treatment, for the bar is solution treatment, while the plate is solution pickling.

The mechanical properties of ASTM 410 stainless steel are as follows:

Tensile strength (RM/MPa) : roughly 540-600 MPa (it may vary according to the specific treatment state).

Elongation strength (Rp0.2/MPa) : approximately 345 MPa.

Elongation A/% : about 55%.

Section shrinkage (Z/%) : about 78%.
