SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(HIC), SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(R-HIC) plate inspection rules

SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(HIC), SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(R-HIC) plate inspection rules:

1. The mechanical properties are rolled into batches one by one.

2. The hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) test should be accepted in batches, and each batch is composed of steel plates with the same heat number, the same thickness and the same heat treatment system. When the thickness is not more than 30mm, take a group of samples, the size of the sample is plate thickness * 20mm * 100mm; when the thickness is more than 30mm, take a group of samples from the thickness of 1/2, the size of the sample is 20mm * 20mm * 100mm.

3. The sulfide stress corrosion resistance (SSCC) test shall be accepted in batches. Select a batch of SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(HIC), SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(R-HIC) steel plates with the largest thickness in the same contract number, and take a group of samples from 1/2 of the thickness.

4. The surface quality of the SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(HIC), SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(R-HIC) steel plate should meet the requirements of ASTM A20/A20M.

5. The SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(HIC), SA516 Gr65(R-HIC)(R-HIC) steel plate mark and quality certificate shall comply with the requirements of ASTM A20/A20M.

6. Simulate post-weld heat treatment system, high temperature stretching (both parties negotiate), low temperature impact (both parties negotiate).
