①Material 1.2312 annealing: The essence is to transform the high-speed steel from austenite to pearlite. The function is to reduce the surface hardness of high-speed steel and improve the plasticity to facilitate cold deformation processing such as cutting; make the composition of the steel uniform, improve the performance, and prepare for further heat treatment; eliminate stress to prevent deformation or cracking.
②1.2312 mold steel normalizing: improve the cutting performance of steel by eliminating network carbides; eliminate internal stress by refining grains.
③Material 1.2312 quenching: The essence is to transform the supercooled austenite into martensite or pearlite. Different tempering is required to achieve the required mechanical properties.
④Material 1.2312 tempering: adjust the mechanical properties with quenching; ensure that the size and shape of the workpiece remain unchanged; eliminate internal stress and prevent cracking and deformation.
⑤Material 1.2312 quenching and tempering: the essence is the combination of quenching and high temperature tempering, which is the best heat treatment for comprehensive mechanical properties; it is also the preheating treatment of soft nitriding.
⑥Material 1.2312 carburizing: strengthen the surface, improve the surface hardness and wear resistance of steel.
⑦1.2312 high speed steel nitriding: suitable for molds with corrosion requirements and higher wear resistance requirements, better surface hardness and wear resistance of high speed steel.
