European plate market buoyant

As the international raw materials and steel prices rise, coupled with last week's Italian Martha Clara price 30/t, the European plate market sentiment turns for the better.

Currently Nordic thick offer 530-540 euros/tonne, said price is still 500-510 euros/ton; Southern Europe reported 480-500 euro/ton, in general. Imported resources offer improved in tandem with the international market to rise, China's resources at 450 euros/ton (CFR), India at 430-435 euros/ton (CFR), less attractive to local buyers.

Steel said that although the fundamentals are still weak, demand is relatively weak, but the rebound in international markets and supported by the steel price increases in the short term the European plate market will remain stable, nine months late or have risen.
