The steel oxidises with pollutants in the air forming a thick layer of rust – this formation acts as a protective layer which prevents the steel from corroding. The layer constantly regenerates and forms over time.

Description

Carbon steel, medium carbon steel. This steel grade has simular propeties as the steel CK35.

C35 carbon steel apply to levers, boks, studs, nuts, and similar parts which are headed, upset, or extruded. Applications for wires include nails regui-ing high shank rigidity or strength and quench-hardened nails.
