Z direction performance of EH36 steel plate
EH36 is a high-strength shipbuilding plate, which implements classification society standards: China CCS, American ABS, German GL, French BV, Norwegian DNV, Japanese NK, British LR, Italian RINA, Korean KR, Norwegian and German VL. EH36 steel plate is widely used in the manufacture of ships, marine structural parts, marine pipelines, and marine steel structures.
The Z-direction performance of EH36 steel plate is the thickness direction performance of EH36 steel plate, and it is also a commonly used lamellar tear-resistant steel. EH36 steel plate has extremely high requirements on harmful elements in the steel plate. Z15 requires the sulfur content of EH36 steel plate to be controlled below 0.010%. Not less than 10%, Z25 requires the sulfur content to be controlled below 0.007%, the average elongation after fracture shall not be less than 25%, the average of a single sample shall not be less than 15%, Z35 requires the sulfur content to be 0.005% below, the average elongation of EH36 steel plate after fracture is not less than 35%, and the single sample is not less than 25%.
