What is the difference between material Q235 and steel Q275
1. The yield limit is different: the yield limit of material Q235 is 235MPa; the yield limit of steel Q275 is 275MPa. They are all ordinary carbon structural steels, Q represents the yield limit of the material, and the following number refers to the yield value of the material.
2. The carbon content and tensile strength are different: material Q235 has a carbon content of 0.14-0.22% and a tensile strength of 375-500; steel Q275 has a carbon content of <0.37% and a tensile strength of 410-560. The carbon content of steel Q275 is generally greater than that of material Q235, and the tensile strength is also larger.
3. The applicability is different: material Q235 is used in construction and engineering structures, such as making steel bars or building factory buildings, high-voltage transmission towers, vehicles, boilers, containers, ships, etc. Q275 steel is used to manufacture parts that require high strength, such as gears, shafts, sprockets, nuts, agricultural machinery profiles, conveyor chains and chain links.
