Welding Points of SPA-H steel
Pay attention to the following points when welding SPA-H weathering steel:
1.Select the appropriate welding material and welding process. SPA-H steel contains certain alloying elements such as copper, chromium, nickel, etc., and welding materials that also contain these alloying elements should be selected during welding, and the welding process parameters of SPA-H steel should be adjusted according to specific conditions .
2.Surface treatment. Before welding, the surface of SPA-H steel should be treated to remove rust, oil and other impurities to ensure the welding quality.
3.Control the temperature. The welding temperature of SPA-H steel should not be too high. Too high temperature will easily cause volatilization of alloy elements and cracks in the heat-affected zone. At the same time, it is necessary to control the pre-execution and cooling rate during the welding process of SPA-H steel to ensure the quality of the weld.
4.Strengthen protection. The welding of SPA-H steel should strengthen protection measures to avoid oxidation and pollution, and maintain a good welding environment.
5. Uniform welding. The welding of SPA-H steel should be as even as possible and completed at one time, so as to avoid the temperature of the welding point being too high or too low, resulting in a decline in welding quality.
