Welding performance of 20Mn2 alloy steel plate
20Mn2 alloy steel is used to manufacture carburized parts with low surface and center requirements and a cross-sectional diameter of <50mm, such as replacing 20Cr steel in the production of carburized small gears and shafts, low-demand piston pins, cross pin heads, diesel engine sleeves, valve stems, transmission control rods, steel sleeves, etc. in the manufacturing of automobiles, tractors, and machine tools. In addition, 20Mn2 steel can also be used for manufacturing riveted and welded parts, screws, nuts, etc. in hot rolled and normalized states.

Carbon C: 0.17-0.24
Silicon Si: 0.17-0.37
Manganese Mn: 1.40-1.80

20Mn2 alloy steel plate heat treatment process:
Tempering temperature 220℃ coolant water. Air heat treatment: quenching (water, oil quenching) first quenching 850, tempering (water, air cooling), carburizing.
