The process flow of QStE380TM steel plate
QStE380TM is a hot-rolled high-strength steel commonly used in automotive structural parts and cold-formed parts. The following is the typical process flow of QStE380TM steel plate:
Raw material preparation: Select appropriate raw materials, including iron ore, scrap steel, etc., and conduct quality inspections.
Smelting: Smelting raw materials into a blast furnace or electric arc furnace to obtain alloyed liquid steel
Continuous casting: Pour the melted molten steel into the continuous casting machine and cool and solidify through the crystallizer to form a continuous billet.
Rough rolling: The continuous casting billet is fed into the rough rolling mill and deformed into the required thickness and width after multiple passes of rolling.
Hot rolling: The rough-rolled billet is sent to the hot rolling mill and rolled again at high temperature to further reduce the thickness of the QStE380TM steel plate and improve its mechanical properties.
Pickling: Immerse the hot-rolled QStE380TM steel plate in an acidic solution to remove oxides and rust on the surface to improve the surface quality of QStE380TM steel.
Cold rolling: The pickled QStE380TM steel plate is sent to the cold rolling mill to further reduce the thickness of the plate through the cold rolling process and improve the flatness and surface quality of QStE380TM steel.
Heat treatment: As needed, perform heat treatment on the cold-rolled QStE380TM steel plate, such as annealing, normalizing or quenching, etc., to adjust its structure and properties.
Cutting and shaping: According to customer requirements, the QStE380TM steel plate is cut to the required size, and necessary bending, punching and other processing are performed to meet the requirements of the final product.
Surface treatment: The QStE380TM steel plate is subjected to surface treatment such as rust removal, spraying, and plating to improve its corrosion resistance and decorative properties.
Inspection and quality control: Conduct various inspections on finished products, including chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, dimensional measurement, etc., to ensure that the product meets standard requirements.
Packaging and leaving the factory: Pack the qualified QStE380TM steel plates, make corresponding marks and records, and finally ship them to customers or store them in the warehouse.
It should be noted that the specific process flow may vary depending on the manufacturer and product requirements. The above is the typical process flow of QStE380TM steel plate under normal circumstances.
