The necessity for the development of high-strength abrasion resistant steel plate
Abrasion is one of the destruction forms of materials. Although wear rarely causes catastrophic damage to metal workpieces, the economic losses it causes are quite alarming. A large number of wear resistant materials are used in metallurgical mines, agricultural machinery, coal and other industries with severe wear, most of which fail due to wear.
High-strength abrasion resistant steel plate undergoes a special heat treatment process, and its wear resistance is increased by more than 2 times compared with high manganese steel and high chromium steel.
The content of alloy elements in high-strength abrasion resistant steel plate is relatively small, generally 1% to 3%. The chemical elements usually include silicon, manganese, chromium molybdenum, vanadium, nickel, titanium, boron, copper, rare earths and so on. High-strength abrasion resistant steel plate has the characteristics of high hardness, high wear resistance, good plastic toughness and weldability, and its strength is generally greater than 1000MPa. High-strength abrasion resistant steel plate is currently a high-strength product in the supply state of carbon steel sheets.
High-strength abrasion resistant steel plate is widely used in mining machinery, coal mining and transportation, construction machinery and cement equipment, etc., which can meet the needs of large construction machinery to work in harsh environments with high wear resistance, long life, simple cold forming and welding resistance.
