The difference between Q345D seamed steel pipe and Q345D seamless steel pipe
According to the production method, Q345D seamless steel pipe can be divided into: hot rolled seamless pipe, cold drawn pipe, precision steel pipe, thermal expansion pipe, cold spinning pipe and extruded pipe, etc. Q345D seamless steel pipe can be used in various industries such as liquid pneumatic pipelines and gas pipelines. Welded pipes can be used for water pipes, gas pipes, heating pipes, electrical pipes, etc.
Q345D seamed steel pipes are divided into furnace welded pipes, electric welding (resistance welding) pipes and automatic arc welded pipes due to their different welding processes. It is divided into Q345D circular welded pipe and Q345D special-shaped (square, flat, etc.) welded pipe. 1. Different production methods. Q345D seamless pipe is made of high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel. Its processing technology is divided into two methods: cold drawing and hot rolling, and the seamed pipe is generally welded.
2. Different uses. Q345D seamless pipes are mainly used as pipes or structural parts for conveying fluids, and are mainly used in the machinery industry, while Q345D seamed steel pipes are mainly used in the construction industry, such as water, gas, compressed air and other low-pressure fluids. But when it comes to pressure pipes, seamless steel pipes are used.
3. The prices are different. Because the production process of Q345D seamless steel pipe is more complicated, the price is more expensive than that of seamed steel pipe, while Q345D seamed steel pipe is mainly made of steel plate (steel belt) secondary welding, which is cheap and widely used.
