Technology of rolling process for ASTM-A36
With the improvement of quality requirements for rolled products, and the application of new technologies and equipment, it could be changed in every step of rolling process. But, the entire rolling production process is always composed of the following basic processes:
Processing of raw material → Heating → Steel rolling → Finishing (cutting, straightening, heat treatment, etc.)
The key of ASTM-A36 rolling process:
Firstly, a reasonable heating system should be established to strictly control the soaking temperature, heating temperature, and heating time of ASTM-A36 steel plate. Reducing the oxidation on the surface of the billet, and so as to avoid rust or watermarks.
Secondly, establishing a reasonable reduction system, and adopting a rolling method of cross control to strictly control the reduction system of each step such as rough rolling and finish rolling.
Thirdly, different product Thickness of A36 steel plates have their specific temperature.Cooling must be carried out after A36 steel plate is rolled, and the temperature of cutting A36 steel plates should be controlled below 200 ℃.
Finally, A36 steel plate should be cut at right angles, the issue of cutting defects is not allowed.
