Similarities and differences between AH32 and AH36
Similarities
1.AH32 and AH36 are steel plates with a thickness of no more than 150mm for manufacturing ocean-going, coastal and inland navigation ships, fishing boats and marine engineering structures.
2. The normal delivery status of AH32 and AH36 is hot rolling, controlled rolling, normalizing and thermo-mechanical rolling, shearing and flame cutting delivery.
3. According to different applications, some AH32 and AH36 also have Z-direction requirements, and Z25 and Z35 need to be added at the end. Ship plates containing the Z direction need to undergo ultrasonic flaw detection, and the flaw detection level needs to be specified in the contract.
Difference
AH36, H represents high strength, 36 represents 360MPa, A represents the grade of steel, which can be divided into 4 grades (A, B, D, E). This meaning represents high-strength Grade A marine steel with an allowable pressure of 360MPa. AH32 is high-strength A-grade marine steel with a required pressure of 320MPa. There is a difference between the two, so they cannot be replaced.
