Rolling points of HP265 Steel
In order to improve the strength and formability of HP265 steel and make the products meet the standard requirements, it is essential to design an accurate process parameter for the rolling system. The rolling system is based on reducing the band structure, low yield ratio, grain refinement and other effects.
The important performance index of HP265 steel is the yield ratio. For high-strength welded cylinder steel, the lower the yield ratio, the greater the deformation capacity of the material from the beginning of plastic deformation to the final fracture, that is to say, the material with low yield ratio is relatively safe in HP265 steel. Whether the yield ratio can be well controlled plays a vital role in determining the rolling system and the safety of use.
Another important factor is the influence of the finish rolling temperature on the yield strength ratio. The increase of the finish rolling temperature will lead to a downward trend in the yield strength, but the rate of yield strength decline is large relative to the tensile strength. This is mainly because the relative coarsening rate of grains speed up with the finish rolling temperature, and the influence of grain size on yield is greater than that on tensile strength.
Through this important link of the rolling process, the uniformity of the grain and structure of HP265 can be guaranteed. .
