Q235 and Q275 steel plates
Introduction to Q235 and Q275 steel plate:
Q235 and Q275 steel are ordinary carbon structural steels. Q represents the yield limit of this material. The following figure refers to the yield value of this material.
Q235 steel carbon content: 0.14-0.22%; Tensile strength( σ b/MPa):375-500。 It is usually rolled into coil bar or round steel, square steel, flat steel, angle steel, I-beam, channel steel, window frame steel and other section steel, medium thick steel plate. It is used for making steel bars or building workshop frames, high-voltage transmission towers, bridges, vehicles, boilers, containers, ships, etc.
Q275 steel carbon content: <0.37%; Tensile strength(σb/MPa):410-560. It is used to manufacture parts with high strength requirements, such as gears, shafts, sprockets, keys, bolts, nuts, agricultural machinery section steel, conveyor chains and chain links.
The yield limit of Q235 steel is 235MPa, and that of Q275 steel is 275MPa.
Because of its low price, it can replace high-quality carbon steel, in which Q235B steel is equivalent to No. 15-20 steel and Q275 steel is equivalent to No. 35-40 steel.
