Non-alloy structural steel S355J2 plate
S355J2 material is a non-alloy structural steel with European designation. S355J2 standard is EN10025. J2 requires -20℃impact. Z-15, Z-25, Z-35 and Class I, II, III flaw detection requirements can be met. S355J2 steel equivalent in China is Q345D, but not the same, there are still some differences. Because of its good impact toughness and welding performance, S355J2 grade steel plate is widely used in various industries.
S355J2 steel plate delivery status, heat treatment process: hot rolling, normalizing. S355J2 plate is usually delivered in hot rolled condition.
EN 10025 S355J2 steel plate finished product analysis, chemical composition:
C≤0.2; Si≤0.55; Mn≤1.6; P≤0.025; S≤0.025; Cu≤0.55
Remarks on ingredients: when the shape is long, increase P and S by 0.005. Ceq = C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15
