Nickel alloy SA203E steel plate for pressure vessel

SA203 is a low nickel alloy steel, including grade A, B, D, E and F. The nominal nickel content of D, E and F is 3.5%, commonly known as 3.5Ni steel.

SA203D/E/F steel has good impact toughness and mechanical properties under low temperature working conditions, and is usually used in low temperature environments of - 70~- 101 ℃ (quenched and tempered to - 107 ℃). It is widely used in the manufacture of equipment in the fields of cryogenic separation processing, air separation and liquefied gas storage. In recent years, a large number of low temperature equipment such as CO2 absorption tower, H2S absorption tower, H2S concentration tower and methanol scrubber in coal chemical projects are made of SA203 steel material, and the maximum thickness currently used is 110mm.

SA203E steel plate executive standard:
SA203E steel plate refers to ASME standard, which belongs to nickel alloy steel plate for pressure vessels

SA203E corresponds to the steel 08Ni3DR, and the standard of 08Ni3DR is GB3531, with 100 degree impact below zero.

Delivery status of SA203 steel plate:
SA203E is generally normalized, normalized and tempered or quenched and tempered.
When the thickness is less than 50mm, delivery is normalized, and impact is -101°C. Thickness: 50-100mm, delivery normalized, impact at -87°C

SA203E steel plate smelting method:
The method of electric furnace+external refining+vacuum degassing shall be adopted for smelting, and it shall be fine grain killed steel.
