Measures to Reduce Inclusions in X56 Pipeline Steel
The way to control non-metallic inclusions in X56 pipeline steel is to reduce the generation of inclusions during the smelting and pouring process and the pollution of X56 pipeline molten steel by foreign inclusions; the second is to try to eliminate the existing inclusions in X56 pipeline steel, in the refining process, there are mainly the following ways to remove X56 pipeline steel inclusions:
(1) Non-metallic inclusions float up in the ladle due to buoyancy, and after reaching the liquid steel surface of the X56 pipeline, enter the slag to be removed. Generally, non-metallic inclusions with large particles are easier to float and separate.
(2) By blowing gas from the bottom, the non-metallic inclusions in the X56 pipeline steel float up and separate with the air bubbles.
(3) Some non-metallic inclusions with small particles collide with each other in the highly turbulent (stirring of gas, etc.) ladle furnace refining process to generate non-metallic inclusions with larger particles, which are removed by floating.
