JIS G 3106 SM520C steel plate application:
SM520C is a low-alloy high-strength steel. SM520 series steels include SM520C and SM520B. SM520C will decrease its yield value as the thickness of the material increases. SM520C steel is used in bridges, ships, vehicles, oil storage tanks, containers and other hot-rolled steels for welding components, especially for steels with good weldability.
