Introduction of 35#, 45# excellent carbon steel
35# steel is the name in the national standard. The ASTM standard is called 1035, the BS standard is called 060A35, the JIS standard is called S35C, the NF standard is called XC38TS, and the DIN standard is called C35 or CK35. 35# steel delivery status: normalized, 870℃; quenched, 850℃; delivered in the state of no heat treatment or heat treatment (annealing, normalizing or high temperature tempering). If it is required to be delivered in a heat-treated state, it should be indicated in the contract, and if it is not indicated, it will be delivered without heat treatment.
45# steel is high-quality carbon structural steel, its strength is 61, HRC is 48-55, and it is used more mechanically; 35# steel is also high-quality carbon structural steel, but its strength is only 54, HRC is 38-45. The difference between them can be identified from the sparks. The sparks with low carbon content have a drooping tail, a slightly darker color, and sometimes have gun-tip tail flowers, which are not much flowers and have thicker awn lines. 45# excellent carbon steel, the tail is straight and the tip streamline has a bifurcation phenomenon, the shooting power is larger, and the flower volume is more. The carbon content of 45# steel is higher than that of 35# steel, of course, 45# carbon steel is harder.
