High strength Q960 quenched and tempered steel

Q960 belongs to quenched and tempered high-strength steel. Q960 steel plate is applicable to high-strength structural steel plates with a thickness of no more than 150MM and delivered in the quenched and tempered state. Grade classification of Q960 quenched and tempered steel: Q960C, Q960D, Q960E, Q960F.

Q960 quenched and tempered steel has high yield strength and tensile strength, and has great resistance to brittle failure.

Q960 quenched and tempered steel has excellent high toughness: it has excellent low temperature toughness, so it can be used in large welding structures and low temperature environments.

Manufacturing method of Q960 quenched and tempered steel: Q960 quenched and tempered steel is smelted by oxygen converter or electric furnace.

Executive standard of Q960 quenched and tempered steel: GB/T 16270.

The size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of Q960 quenched and tempered steel shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 709.
