Heat Treatment Process of 12Cr1MoV steel
The creep limit of 12Cr1MoV steel is similar to the value of enduring strength. It has high plasticity when it is stretched for a long time, and the thermal strength of 12Cr1MoV steel is good. Since 12Cr1MoV steel still has high thermal strength and oxidation resistance at 580°C, it can be used in manufacturing work Overheated steel pipes, conduits, radiator pipes and related forgings in high-pressure equipment with a temperature not exceeding 580°C.
The preparations and conditions before the heat treatment of 12Cr1MoV steel are as follows:
A.Prepare the heat treatment plan for 12Cr1MoV steel, and operate after
approval;
B. The orifice plate, thermometer and other instruments near the 12Cr1MoV steel weld on the pipeline should be completely removed, and the removal port should be protected;
C. Electric heaters, thermocouples, recorders and other equipment used in the heat treatment of 12Cr1MoV steel should be intact;
D. All measuring instruments and electrical equipment should be qualified and within the validity period;
E. When welding outdoor pipes of 12Cr1MoV steel, a reliable weatherproof shed should be erected.
