Heat treatment method of A36 steel
A36 steel has a higher carbon content than low-carbon steel, and it is considered as low-alloy steel. It is not advisable to directly heat-treat A36 steel, because A36 steel can be soften when heated.

·Normalizing
Normalizing is an important step of heat treatment, and the temperature is generally between 899℃ and 954℃.It can improve the strength and hardness of A36 steel to make it more suitable for the mechanical manufacturing industry.
·Annealing
Annealing is a common method of heat treatment that changes the properties of metals by heating and cooling. Its temperature is generally between 843℃ and 871℃. To avoid problems such as cracks in the A36 steel, it is necessary to control the rise and fall of temperature during the insulation and cooling process.
·Quenching
Quenching is a method of rapid cooling,It can further improve the hardness and toughness of A36 steel.
·Tempering
Tempering will reduce the hardness of A36 steel, but it can improve the toughness and plasticity of A36 steel.
