Detailed explanation of Q460GJC steel plate

Q460GJC steel plate is a grade of steel used in high-rise buildings, meaning GJ for high-rise buildings. C is a level of display for it. The Q460GJC steel is widely used in the construction of high-rise buildings due to its excellent performance and the ability to add other features according to customer needs.

Steel for building structures: Steel used in the construction of high-rise and important building structures. It is required to have high impact toughness, sufficient strength, good welding performance, a certain yield strength ratio, and if necessary, thickness oriented performance.

The meaning of Q460GJC steel plate: Q is the initial letter of yield, 460 is the yield value, in MPa, GJ is the abbreviation of high-rise building, and E is the quality grade of the steel plate, which is classified as C (grade B, C, D, E). Q460GJC high-performance building structural steel, a special killed steel with a quality grade of C, belongs to the high-strength building structural steel plate, abbreviated as Q460GJC. The thickness of the steel plate can reach 120mm, and larger thicknesses require technical approval. When the steel plate is required to have thickness directional performance, symbols representing the thickness directional performance level shall be added after the above specified grades, namely Q460GJC-Z15, Q460GJC-Z25, and Q460GJC-Z35.

Application and use of Q460GJC steel plate:
Q460GJC steel plate can be used to manufacture various high-rise buildings, high-rise frame structures, exhibition centers, airports, etc.
