Design of smelting process for SN400A, SN400B and SN400C steel plates

The smelting process flow of SN400A, SN400B and SN400C steel plates adopts low sulfur hot metal and low sulfur scrap on the basis of the general process flow of export steel, which increases the refining process of LIIF furnace deep desulfurization and SiCa treatment.

In this way, not only the sulfur content in SN400A, SN400B and SN400C steels can be reduced, but also the sulfide in the steels can be modified. The toughness of steel is greatly improved, the casting performance of molten steel is improved, and the qualification rate of tundish temperature is increased to ensure the smooth casting.
