Classification and use of steel bars
Steel bar is one of the materials that can be seen everywhere on construction sites, which is equivalent to the human skeleton, and there are many kinds of steel bars, and different steel bars have different functions.
1. Long steel bar
The long steel bar refers to the use of lap-joint connection methods in the specified section with different diameters to ensure that the steel bars in the beam parts can exert the tensile strength.
2. Perforated steel bar
The perforated steel bar refers to the steel bar that can run through the entire length of the component, and neither bends nor breaks in the middle. When the steel bar is too long, it can be welded.
3. Erection bar
In the concrete member, the erection bars play the role of fixing the position of the stirrups. When there is a negative moment steel bar above the support of the beam, the erection bars can only be arranged on the mid-span part of the beam.
4. Structural steel bar
In the classification of steel bars, the structural steel bars can meet the requirements of the structure. For various reasons that are not easy to calculate and not taken into account, the set steel bars can be used for structural steel bars, such as the erection bars of the beams in the concrete structure and the longitudinal structural steel bars , are arranged in the middle of the beam side, also known as waist bars.
5. Distributing steel bar
The distribution bars appear in the slab and are perpendicular to the stressed steel bars. The function of this steel bar is to fix the position of the stressed steel bars, and at the same time, distribute the load on the slab to each stressed steel bar, and also prevent the shrinkage and the temperature change which cause cracks to appear in the direction of the stressed steel bar.
