Chemical composition and technical parameters of 12Cr1MoVR pressure vessel steel plate

12Cr1MoVR is a steel for pressure vessels, which belongs to a kind of medium-temperature hydrogen-resistant steel. 12Cr1MoVR steel plate is a kind of Cr-Mo alloy steel, which is a widely used heat-strength steel and hydrogen-resistant steel. Due to the addition of Cr, Mo, etc. alloying elements, the comprehensive properties of 12Cr1MoVR steel, such as good high temperature mechanical properties, high temperature oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, good toughness, process performance and weldability is greatly improved.

12Cr1MoVR steel plate is delivered in normalized and tempered condition.

12Cr1MoVR steel plate smelting method:
12Cr1MoVR steel is smelted by oxygen converter or electric furnace, and should adopt the refining process outside the furnace.

The size, shape and allowable deviation of 12Cr1MoVR steel plate shall comply with the provisions of GB/T709. The thickness deviation of the steel plate shall comply with the B-type deviation requirements of GB/T709. According to the requirements of the buyer, it can also be delivered according to the C-type deviation of GB/T709. The steel plate is delivered according to the theoretical weight, and the density of the steel plate for calculation is 7.85g/cm³.

12Cr1MoVR pressure vessel steel plate ultrasonic testing:
12Cr1MoVR steel plate shall be ultrasonically inspected for each sheet according to the requirements of the buyer, and the inspection method shall be performed according to JB/T4730.3 or GB/T2970.

Chemical composition of 12Cr1MoVR steel plate:
C 0.08-0.15, Si 0.15-0.40, Mn 0.40-0.70, P≤0.025, S≤0.010, Cu≤0.30, Ni≤0.30, Cr 0.90-1.20, Mo 0.25-0.35, V 0.15-0.30

12Cr1MoVR pressure vessel steel plate is suitable for: petrochemical, nuclear power, steam turbine cylinder block, thermal power and other large-scale equipment with high temperature and high pressure, and hydrogen or hydrogen mixed media.
