Chemical composition and application of SA387 Gr11 CL1 (hydrogen) steel plate
SA387 Gr11 CL1 (hydrogen) steel plate is a material in the American ASME standard, SA387 Gr11 CL1 is a low alloy steel. It belongs to 1.25Cr-0.5Mo series pearlitic heat-resistant steel. It has good high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and sulfide corrosion resistance below 500℃. SA387 Gr11 CL1 (hydrogen) steel plate is widely used in high temperature and high pressure vessel devices in coal chemical and petrochemical industries.
Chemical composition of SA387 Gr11 CL1 (hydrogen) steel plate:
C: 0.05-0.17, Mn: 0.40-0.65, P: 0.035, S: 0.035, Si: 0.50-0.80, Cr: 1.00-1.50, Mo: 0.45-0.65
SA387 Gr11 CL1 steel plate application: mainly used for the manufacture of spherical storage tanks with a size of more than 50 cubic meters. SA387 Gr11 CL1 steel is widely used in petroleum, chemical, power station, boiler and other industries to make reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, oil and gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, boiler drums, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, high-pressure water pipes of hydropower stations, water turbines volute and other equipment and components.
