　　By the end of 2020, the Jiangsu steel industry will achieve high standards and full-process ultra-low emissions.

　　Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment held a work conference on air pollution prevention and control in the province. The meeting stated that before the end of the year, the steel industry achieved high standards and ultra-low emissions throughout the process. All the 505 industrial furnaces and kiln renovation projects included in the annual plan achieved stable compliance with standards. Existing enterprises in the petrochemical, chemical, nonferrous metals, cement, and coking industries in the province have fully implemented special emission limits for sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and VOCs.
