Brief introduction of SB410 steel plate
SB410 plate is a Japanese standard pressure vessel steel plate, and SB410 steel plate is used for the production of reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, oil and gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear reactor pressure shells, etc.
SB410 steel plate delivery status: normalized, annealed
SB410 plate executive standard: JIS G 3103.
Mechanical properties of SB410 steel plate:
Grade | Shape | Delivery Status | Thickness | Mechanical properties | |
SB410 | plate | Heat treatment, normalizing, annealing | ≤25mm | ReL(MPa) | ≥225 |
Rm(MPa) | 410-550 | ||||
A(%) | ≥21 | ||||
Bending diameter | 0.5a | ||||
Bend Angle | 180 | ||||
SB410 | plate | Heat treatment, normalizing, annealing | >25-50mm | ReL(MPa) | ≥225 |

Chemical composition of SB410 steel plate:
C | Si | Mn | P | S | Ni | Cr | Mo | Cu | Nb | V | Ti | B |
≤0.3 | 0.15-0.4 | ≤0.9 | ≤0.02 | ≤0.02 | ≤0.4 | ≤0.3 | ≤0.12 | ≤0.4 | ≤0.02 | ≤0.03 | ≤0.03 | ≤0.001 |
Remarks for composition: Cu+Ni+Cr+Mo≤1; Cr+Mo≤0.32; for every 0.01 decrease in the maximum C, the maximum Mn is allowed to increase by 0.06, up to a maximum of 1.5.
