Q420qD steel plate is a high-strength structural steel, and it is a new steel product independently innovated in China. It is a structural steel for bridges and is applicable to steel plates and profiles for bridge construction.

The series grades of Q420q steel plate include Q420qD, Q420qC, Q420qE and Q420qF. When the steel plate is required to have thickness direction performance, the symbols Z15, Z25 and Z35 representing the thickness direction performance level shall be added after the above specified grades, namely Q420qCZ15, Q420qCZ25, Q420qCZ35, Q420qDZ15, Q420qDZ25, Q420qDZ35, Q420qEZ15, Q420qEZ25, Q420qEZ35, Q420qFZ15, Q420qFZ25 and Q420qFZ35.

Delivery status of Q420qD steel plate: Q420qD steel plate is usually delivered in thermo mechanical rolling status, and the steel plate shall be delivered by trimming.
Q420qD steel plate shall comply with GB/T 714.
