ASTM-A572 can carry out various surface special processing, such as hot dip galvanizing anodizing, spraying plastics of environmental protection, etc.

ASTM-A572 includes five grades: 42, 50, 55, 60, and 65, it has a wide range of heavy-duty industrial applications, and the specific use depends on the grades.

ASTM-A572 Gr50 is used for the production of channel steel, heavy beams, heavy construction equipment, building structures, heavy anchoring systems, truck frames, poles, lining plates, conveyors, boom sections, and structural steel profiles.

ASTM-A572 Gr42 and ASTM-A572 Gr55 are most suitable for riveted, bolted, or welded structures.

ASTM-A572 Gr60 and ASTM-A572 Gr65 are usually used for riveted or bolted structures of bridges, or for other riveted, bolted or welded construction uses.
