Application of SA387 Gr11 CL2 plate

SA387 Gr11 CL2 pressure vessel steel has sufficient strength and toughness, good weldability and cold and hot workability.

SA387 Gr11 CL2 plate is widely used in the manufacturing of chemical industry, fertilizer, petrochemical industry and thermal power plant equipment, such as synthetic ammonia reactor, coal gasification furnace, shift furnace and hydrogenation reactor.

SA387 Gr11 CL2 belongs to 1.25Cr-0.5Mo pearlitic heat-resistant steel, which has good high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance and sulfide corrosion resistance below 500℃. SA387 Gr11 CL2 material is suitable for refining and gas treatment in hydrogenation reaction and conversion equipment at high temperature. The thickness of SA387 Gr11 CL2 plate can reach 250 mm. According to different thickness and impact requirements, the heat treatment of SA387 Gr11 CL2 steel plate shall be normalizing plus tempering or normalizing plus rapid cooling plus tempering. It is widely used in the cylinder, head and coke tower (including the base layer of composite steel plate) of high temperature and high pressure vessel devices in coal chemical and petrochemical industries.
