Application differences between 12Cr1MoV and 12Cr1MoVR steel plate
12Cr1MoV steel plate is mainly used after normalizing and high temperature tempering to manufacture superheated steel pipes, conduits, serpentine tubes and other corresponding forgings in high-pressure equipment with operating temperature not exceeding 570-585.
12Cr1MoVR steel plate is melted in oxygen top blowing converter, open hearth furnace or electric furnace. Other equivalent methods can also be adopted after negotiation with the Demander. 12Cr1MoVR steel plate is mainly used for making high-pressure boilers and vessels.
