A387 Gr5 CL2 steel smelting method:
It is smelted by electric furnace and LF/VD vacuum furnace outside refining method.
Delivery status: A387 Gr5 CL2 plates are delivered in annealed, normalized and tempered state, or when the purchaser agrees, accelerated cooling from the austenitizing temperature by blast or liquid quenching, followed by tempering.
Scope of application
A387Gr5CL2 pressure vessel quality plate can resist the corrosion produced in the process of petroleum cracking. Under high temperature conditions, the steel with oxidation resistance, sufficient high temperature strength and good heat resistance is called heat resistant steel. This steel plate belongs to alloy steel and has good oxidation resistance at about 650°C. It has good thermal strength below 600°C, and has good shock absorption and thermal conductivity. Besides, A387 Gr5 CL2 plate is widely used in steam turbines.
