Steel standard ASTM A204/A204M and similar steel standard ASME SA204/SA204M which specification for pressure vessel steel plates, molybdenum alloy steel plate A204 Grade A, A204 Grade B, A204 Grade C and SA204 Grade A, SA204 Grade B,SA204 Grade C.

For thickness equal and under 40mm, boiler steel plate A204 Grade A shall be supplied normally in the as-rolled delivery condition. The plates also may be ordered in Normalized or stress relieved or both.

For thickness above 40mm, pressure vessel steel plate SA204 Grade A shall be in Normalized heat treatment.
