20MnCr5 steel plate chemical composition and mechanical properties

Heat treatment process of 20MnCr5 steel plate: 900℃ oil quenching + 870℃ oil quenching, 200℃ tempering.

Use of 20MnCr5 steel plate: it can be used as carburized parts and quenched and tempered parts with large section and high load, such as gears, shafts, worms, sleeves, collision wheels, etc.

Carbon C: 0.17-0.22
Silicon Si: ≤ 0.25
Manganese Mn: 1.10-1.50
Sulfur S: 0.010-0.035
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.035
Chromium Cr: 1.00-1.30

20MnCr5 steel plate is an alloy structural steel. It is imported from Germany and is equivalent to 20CrMn steel in China. It is carburized steel with high strength, high resistance and excellent hardenability. The properties obtained after heat treatment are better than 20Cr steel.
