18MnD5 steel plate for nuclear power
18MnD5 plate is nuclear steel plate, equivalent to American standard SA533 GrB Cl1.
Delivery status of 18MnD5 steel plate: quenched Q+tempered T (quenched and tempered)
Quenching: after heating and holding the steel plate, rapidly cool it in water, oil or other inorganic salts and other media.
Tempering: keep the steel plate at a proper temperature for a long time before cooling.
Rolling process description of 18MnD5 steel plate:
Raw scrap iron and raw steel → electric furnace 90 or 100 tons electric arc → LF furnace molten steel polishing → ladle vacuum treatment VD or VOD → mold casting/continuous casting → large slab electroslag furnace → heating continuous and soaking furnace → steel plate rolling 4100 and 4200mm rolling mill → flaw detection and steel plate heat treatment → steel plate quality inspection
Thickness deviation of 18MnD5 steel plate: N, A, B, C
Type N deviation: positive deviation and negative deviation are equal.
Class A deviation: determine the negative deviation according to the nominal thickness.
Class B deviation: fixed negative deviation is 0.3.
Class C deviation: the fixed negative deviation is 0, and the positive deviation is determined according to the nominal thickness.
18MnD5 steel plate flaw detection standard: EN10160-S3E4
