What is 16Mo3 CrMo alloy?
16Mo3 steel is a CrMo alloy steel material used for weldable pressure vessels and high temperature service boilers. Its material number is 1.5415.
16Mo3 CrMo alloy steel is specified under EN10028-2 standard steel for pressure purposes. This CrMo alloy may tend to become brittle in service at temperatures between approximately 400℃ and 500℃. The material is used as a weldable steel for manufacturing industrial boilers and stainless steel pressure vessels in the oil, gas and chemical industries.
