Heat treatment of S355JR steel plate

1. S355JR steel plate is flame-heated and surface quenched.
This heat treatment process uses a combustible gas flame to heat the surface of the S355JR steel plate. With the increase of the flame temperature, the surface of the S355JR steel plate will quickly reach the specified quenching temperature. Immediately after the surface of the S355JR steel plate reaches the specified temperature, it is cooled with water jets, and finally the surface obtains a martensitic structure.

2.S355JR steel plate laser heating and surface quenching.
The high-power laser beam generated by the laser is irradiated on the surface of the S355JR steel plate, so that the surface of the S355JR steel plate is heated to the austenitization temperature in a short period of time, and then the laser beam is removed, and the thermal conductivity of the S355JR steel plate itself is used to dissipate the heat from the surface of the S355JR steel plate, and finally achieve the purpose of cold quenching.

3. Chemical heat treatment of S355JR steel plate
Chemical heat treatment of high-strength steel plate is to place S355JR steel plate in a specific medium for heating and heat preservation treatment, and then let multiple elements penetrate into the surface of S355JR steel plate to change the chemical composition of S355JR steel plate, and finally strengthen the physical and mechanical properties of the S355JR steel plate chemical properties.

Chemical heat treatment is divided into three stages of heating, heat preservation, and cooling. The elements added to the steel plate sometimes fuse with iron to form a solid solution, and sometimes form a new compound with iron to realize the interaction between metal parts.
