SS400 plain hot-rolled coil price in Zhengzhou

Last week (March 5th to March 12th), the price of Zhengzhou hot-rolled coil market continued to fluctuate. The current market prices of SS400 plain carbon steel coils for 1.8mm and 2.75mm are 5230 yuan/ton and 4960 yuan/ton respectively. The market price of 3.0mm thickness is 4940 yuan/ton, and the market price of 3.5mm thickness is about 4900 yuan/ton.

The market price of Q345D low-alloy steel coils and sheets above 3.5mm is around RMB 5,020/ton. Looking back on this week, the local hot-rolled market price rebounded rapidly at the beginning of the week. However, due to the obvious adjustment of the mid-week market and billet, the market's low-priced resources gradually increased. Today, the Tangshan billet obviously led to a sharp increase in prices again. Cushing higher, has returned to the price level at the beginning of the week. In terms of resources, BBN Steel plans to produce normally for hot rolling this month, and the recent output is relatively high. Although terminal demand is gradually released, due to the concentration of shipments from steel mills, the current local market for hot rolling stocks is still relatively large. On the whole, it is expected that the local hot-rolled market prices may continue to be adjusted at a high level in the short term.
